General Philosophy

Hara gives its residents the opportunity to develop their abilities, their creativity and expression as part of a loving, caring and safe community that respects each individual resident and member of staff.

In parallel we offer extensive support our residents’ families and give them the ability to participate in our therapeutic and developmental activities.

Our goal is to be a model institution in constant interaction with the wider community that is both flexible and responsive to the needs of our children and their families.

Our interactions with the community seek to sensitize, inform and combat the stigma attached to individuals with special needs and to recognize their basic human rights.
