Ονομάζομαι Δήμητρα Φουντά Μελετοπούλου

Γεννήθηκα στη Σπάρτη το 1969. Μετακόμισα στην Αθήνα για να σπουδάσω στο ΕΜΠ. Πήρα πτυχίο Χημικού Μηχανικού το 1993. Δούλεψα όσο σπούδαζα στη διαφημιστική Prom and Tab.

Ως χημικός μηχανικός δούλεψα 5 χρόνια σε κατασκευαστικές εταιρείες αλλά αποφάσισα ότι η κλίση μου ήταν πιο καλλιτεχνική. Με τράβηξε η μόδα κ η ενδυματολογία.  Δούλεψα σε περιοδικά μόδας και έκανα τα κοστούμια σε μια ταινία “Ιστορίες χωρίς χρόνο”.

Τα τελευταία χρόνια έχω πολύ χρόνο. Τα παιδιά μου σπουδάζουν στο εξωτερικό.

Όσες φορές συμμετέχω στις δράσεις του Χαρά το απολαμβάνω και θέλω να υποστηρίξω τις δράσεις του με όποιο τρόπο μπορώ.

Dimitra Founda was born in Sparta in 1969. She moved to Athens to study at the National Technical University, graduating with an MSc in Chemical Engineering in 1993. During her studies she worked in an advertising firm and then spent 5 years working as a Chemical Engineer in various construction companies. Having decided that she was drawn to the Arts, particularly fashion and costume design, she then worked for various fashion magazines and designed costumes for films. Now that her children are all studying abroad she has spare time and has participated in a number of Hara’s events and activities, recently joining its Board.
