But this is more than just a race. It’s a mission of love with a purpose—to raise €75,000 for the complete renovation of the bathrooms in our 35 year old main building
Yiannis our son, who is non-verbal and profoundly autistic, lives at “Hara” with 62 other residents all of whom have severe disabilities including intellectual disability, autism, cerebral palsy, and Down syndrome.
Hara operates year-round, offering specialized care and a safe home to those who need it most. It is a registered non-profit charitable association, founded in 1983 by parents—like me—who wanted a better life for their children.
